Privacy

This site has one form on it. This page says what happens to what you type into it, and what the rest of the site does not do.

01

What we collect

Only what you put in the enquiry form. Nothing is gathered in the background and there is no account to create.

The form also carries one hidden field that real people never see. It exists to catch automated spam, and anything typed into it is discarded.

02

What we use it for

Answering you, and quoting the work you have asked about. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share your details with anyone else, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

03

How your enquiry reaches us

The form is passed to Web3Forms, a form-relay service that forwards it straight to the Solid7 Headwear inbox as an email. It sits in the middle for a few seconds and does not build a profile of you. Their own policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.

If that service cannot be reached, the form instead opens your own email program with the message already written, so you can send it yourself. In that case nothing passes through anyone but your email provider and ours.

04

Cookies and tracking

There are none. No cookies are set, no analytics run, there are no advertising or social pixels, and nothing is stored in your browser. That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

05

The server, and the fonts

The site runs on a server operated for us by Signal Red Studio. Like any web server it keeps a short access log: the IP address, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. Those logs are for keeping the site up and dealing with abuse. They are deleted after fourteen days.

The typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so Google sees the IP address of anyone loading a page here. That is the only third party the site itself calls out to.

06

How long we keep your enquiry

Enquiries stay in the business inbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and longer if you become a customer, because the order history matters. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

07

Seeing it, correcting it, deleting it

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold on you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. No form to fill in, and no charge. We may ask you to confirm the request came from the address it names.

08

Asking us anything about this

Email peter@solid7.com, or use the form and say what it is about.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing here restricts any right you have under Australian privacy law.
